With an average production capacity of 100 tanks per day for this product type, we support transformer manufacturers that need a dependable supply of cylindrical tanks for volume production.
For a large order, daily output is only part of the requirement. Tank dimensions, weld quality and surface finish also need to remain consistent from one batch to the next. Our manufacturing process brings together robotic welding, skilled manual welding, individual leak testing and an automatic painting line to support these needs.
Batch Production Based on Customer Drawings
We manufacture transformer oil tanks according to customer drawings and agreed technical requirements. Tank dimensions, mounting arrangements and component interfaces are reviewed before production so that fabrication follows the requirements of the transformer design.
Robotic welding supports repetitive welding operations, while skilled manual welding handles assembly details and areas that require flexible access. Combining these methods allows us to organize volume production while accommodating the details of each tank design.
Leak Testing and Surface Protection
Every tank undergoes leak testing. For cylindrical single-phase tanks, compressed-air testing in a leak-test pool allows our team to check for leakage. Any leakage identified is repaired, and the tank is tested again before moving to the next stage.
Surface preparation and coating are also part of the production process. Sandblasting prepares the steel surface, followed by coating on our automatic painting line. The coating system is selected according to the agreed project specification and operating environment.
